Thank you!!

But, wouldn't it be better to build into the update the facility so that the 'analysed' icon reverts from a tick to a question mark so that you know you have to re-analyse??

Hi!

Just discovering this topic after a week away.
You're right, it should have been like you said so that the user is automatically aware he needs to reanalyze. Unfortunately, for different reasons, it was not possible. Sorry for that. But nice your issue finally got resolved!

Cheers

Well, this issue wasn't really resolved I had to manually re analyse all 8000 tracks after updating to the new version....

That's not a problem, as it was written in the changelog.

Your problem was not to be aware of that (cause not everybody read the changelog, agreed).

Or maybe i didn't get what you mean...

As you say above it would have been good to have made the user aware that after upgrade to a new version they would have to re-analyse.

Is there a way to view when the file was last analysed?

What is a changelog and where would one find it? In an ideal world you guys would write something & we would all read it but this is the real word & most people want to just dive in & start using the software!

Thanks for the reply.

My bad, I meant "release notes ", the text posted along with an update, like here: [PC] Cross DJ 1.7.0 & release notes.

Would it be possible in the future to have a 'Date Last Analysed' feature?

Or a splash screen saying 'You will need to re-analyse'?

Why not, if it can help, but i'm not sure it'll be easy to add...

Bad idea IMHO, because the real need to re-analyse almost never happen, and currently there's no possibility to know if a file needs to be re-analysed apart from comparing the last date against the feature release dates...
