Issues with U-Mix and forum

Hi All,
I just received my U-Mix Control Pro controller and Cross DJ software. I registered the software and everything seems good to go. I hooked up the controller and updated the firmware and the software to 1.7.1. But this is where my issues begin. The crossfader on my controller does not register in Cross DJ but all other controls work. What do I do? I tried to post in the U-Mix Control Pro section but I do not have permission. I literally just got the controller delivered today and now I can't even use it. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey,

Please delete all the cookies from the board then you should have permission to write in the other sections.
Edit: here is the link to delete the cookies of the board: ucp.php?mode=delete_cookies

To the problem: which audio routing do you use? I ask because at external mode the Cross fader will not work.

So please some more info please

Regards
Christian

Thanks for the quick response. But I deleted all the cookies and I am still unable to post in the U-Mix Control section.
As far as the output mode it is set at dual stereo. I have a brand new Macbook pro. I updated the Cross DJ software and the U-Mix with no results. The crossfader is shown on the screen as being all the way to the right no matter where I physically place it on the controller. I can move it on the screen but then when I touch the controller it moves right back to the right side/ channel B.
I think the controller itself is defective.

Did you try to post here? It really should work.
viewforum.php?f=354

However, if you tried to post here (viewforum.php?f=353), thats' perfectly normal you can't. I can not either!

seems to be issues with the fourm

is it possible for you to look in the mapping section and check that U-Mix Control Pro is selected and maybe a screen shot of the mapping with the area concerened expanded to see how the mapping is set up for the crossfader,, :?: :?:

oh yes   welcome to mixvibes and the fourm :!:

Yes I did try to post in the first section but there was no new topic button.
As far as the mapping I believe that is right because as I played with the Cross fader it would jump to its position if I picked up on the fader and pushed it up a bit towards the channel faders. I will get a screen shot later today of the mapping as I am already late to work. But how to I take a screen shot as the Mac is brand new to me.
Thanks again!
