     have U-Mix Control Pro,getting error message. when opening preferences/audio,,the selection for U-Mix in drop down tab,, is labeled ""speakers (Mixvibes U-Mix Control Pro)"" . check selection  and error message pops up "error opening primary sound driver bad format...un able to use this selection and have to use asio4 allv2,, and select the U-Mix sc,,         pertaint info , ver 4.2 firmware already installed on controller.windows said it installed drivers successfuly on intial connection/start up,, pherfical info,, didnt install Cross DJ as to having Cross already installed sound cards installed on comp,are primary sc ,creative sb 7.1., toshiba sc connected thru hedmi connection, usb home sound doggle,, removed due to not needing. side note in opening control panel for asio 4 all unable to add together sc chains ,as in before  ,... maybe something wrong with this particular situtation or maybe improper drivers,,,any thoughts      January 2012 Mixvibes DJ of the month MEMBER OF:   C00l People MV Society  2014 dell XPS8700intel core i5 4400@3.10ghz

 If you can't choose the ASIO driver for the device, then to me something is wrong, somewhere.  You say you have installed the latest firmware but have you installed the latest driver/Control panel.  If not I would download and install this mate[PC] [WIN XP, VISTA, SEVEN] U-Mix Control Pro 1.0.3 Volume Panel

     yes saw that download and thought it was for firmware ,,will download and install it  to see if it makes a differences

 A bit confused due to the fact not being a native speaker. Is everything solved now and are you happy with the U-Mix Control Pro and Cross? Btw.: I am only using Cross as you do too with the U-Mix Control Pro    Gave away my Cross DJ license to my godchild to prevent him from getting used to Virtual DJ  Viele Grüße, Cheers, A plus,Steve  Winner Mixvibes 10 years DJ contest 2009
