Hi - I've just got the MixVibes software with the Ion DiscoverDJ outfit and can't seem to download WAVs into the software - I can get all my MP3s - and tracks I didn't think were MP3s - but most of my music won't load.
Am I missing something simple here or do music tracks have to be MP3s to be loaded into MixVibes (if so how can I get my WAVs into that format.
I'd appreciate any ideas/help/advice on this.

Thanks for comment Dan
My WAVs are all ripped into Windows Media Player and I've burned them to CDs for mix-ups so I don't think they are protected.
As I said some CDs whoich I thought had been ripped as WAVs have copied across, but appear in Mix Vibes as MP3s.
When I go File/Improt Directory it only brings over those music files stored in WMP which appear to be MP3s - none of the folders with WAVs in appear to have any content.
I just wondered if there was some kind of selection menu I've missed. alternatively I've got 1156 medias copied across, has this filled it up?
Thanks for any help - let me know if you need more information.

Mixvibes dont read wma. this probly is the situtation,,have some files that where put on comp ,and unable to load then also,,looking back at them, that what they are hate to say to reload then as wav, or even convert then to wave or mp3 format,,this is what i will probly do in the near furture

I can confirm that normal WAV files do actually work in Mixvibes. I Personally I use mp3's on the highest quality setting (320k) and cannot hear the difference from WAV files at all - and they take up much less space. There are plenty of converters available, many of them freeware if you decide to convert your collection. This place: http://www.download.com has lots to choose from. Best of luck!

^I completely agree - AAC at the highest bit-rate sounds better. Sadly, I can't use them in Mixmeister, so I'm forced to use MP3 instead
