Relative mode working "unexpected"

Postby Hannes on 02 Jan 2012, 16:46

Hi guys,

I´ve noticed this since 1.6 but wasnt shure if it´s due to old timecodes etc. but now with new timecodes (thx fabrice ;) )
it still happening.

Problem: relaive mode isnt as skip-proof as it should be/used to be when skratching especially when doing backspins,
-> backspin in absolute mode: maybe skipping but fine
-> backspin in relative mode: visible skipping in the waveform and also unsteady speed. problem.

So maybe the skip-protection needs some overhauling, but right now it´s not good. seems to me like the interval between ignore-skipping and needle lifted is too short.

urs truly
