I upgrade Cross DJ with my U-Mix Control Pro to 1.7 and many times not all the time 3 out of 10 songs when i load a track i get a small glitch-dropout i never had this problem with 1.6.1,all songs are analyzed,my PC its hp 2.5 ghz 4 gig ram and optimized for sound.i have it at 4.9 ms latency.

have you analysed the tracks with 1.6.1 or with 1.7? To my knowlege the files are analysed again if they have not the information which are needed for 1.7.

and where are the files stored? maybe the disk where the files from is not optimised or not working correct. Defragmentation can speed up it too.

Have you installed any new software and so on?
Some details more could help us to solf the problem.

I use also currently an 2,4GHz Dual Core Intel with 3Gig memory and it is working flawless.

i have analyzed them again with 1.7,i have my hard disk partition c all programs and my music on d,i havent done defragment i will try tomorrow.my PC never goes on the internet and no i havent install any program only Cross DJ and ccleaner.

ok i defrag i play about 25-30 minutes and no dropout-glitch,only when i press b or a to load a track u can see the software its sticky for a second only when i load a track, but no problem with the sound.

Ok the drop outs in the sound are away now the little stop in the GUI is the only problem now. Hmm I have no idea why it stops for a second but it could be a reason of the peak file. It takes a few mili seconds to search and load this file. This can cause stops in the GUI. But not sure if this is the exact problem.
I have a very big media base and I have this stop of the GUI some times too but only on my backup machine which I currently play with. (the main system is broken and send back to repair).
I tested to save the peak files on a different storage device (an real device not a partition) and it is working faster.

So you need to tweak your system because you have way more power than required...
