Sorry but you are wrong. Check my tracks analyzed with Cross in Cross Mediabase: 1.5.5.JPG And after closing Cross the results in mp3tag: Mp3Tag.JPG As you can see Cross 1.5.5 stores demical numbers. There is something wrong with saving tags in 1.6 or 1.7. Please check if there is a possibillity your bpm values are from 1.5.5 and not from 1.6 or 1.7. Thanks a lot Stelios, Greece

Hi, If ever it used to work as you're saying, it was a bug we never noticed ! The BPM field in ID3 tags is specified as being an integer, despite the fact that some apps write decimals (as Cross might have done before ). Here are the id3 specs dealing with this: http://www.id3.org/id3v2.4.0-frames4.2.3. Derived and subjective properties frames
TBPM The 'BPM' frame contains the number of beats per minute in the main part of the audio. The BPM is an integer and represented as a numerical string.
We could write (and read) decimal values, but specs are to be followed and it would potentially break some third party apps... By the way, thanx for spotting this, we'll be thinking about this and see if it can be a good thing not to respect the specs Cheers,

I am not asking to make Cross saving demicals in bpm. I am just trying to understand if Cross saves tag info correct. I think that there is a probplem with saving info..anyway i'll do more tests and see what's wrong, or maybe i am doing something wrong and need some help.
Thanks a lot Stelios, Greece

Thanks, can you please check the gain of a track, when relocating it? The gain is set to 0db and it needs to be re-analyzed.
Thanks a lot Stelios, Greece
