Everything was working fine until yesterday. I plugged my U-Mix Control Pro the power LED was active and all the knobs flashed once as usual. However Cross DJ does not react to any manipulation done on the controller. It does recognize the U-Mix Control Pro as sound card because when I drag a track into the player using the mouse and play it , Cross DJ uses the sound card from the U-Mix Control Pro. But apart of the sound card function my controller has no effect on Cross DJ.
I tried changing the USB port but nothing worked, I closed the program and opened it again after connecting and powering the controller correctly but the problem remains.I changed nothing in my audio settings of Cross DJ, everything is just like before when everything was working fine.
My the firmeware of the controller is up to date 4.2. I am running Cross 1.7 on a windows 7.
My windows 7 was recently updated but I don'' know in what way it could be the problem.

Check into the MIDI tab :
- if U-Mix Control Pro is selected when plugged in
- if the tab is flashing in green when you touch a button on the controler (this mean it does receive data).

the controller is selected when pluged in but the tabs ar not flashing in green when touching a boutton on the controller in the MIDI tab. So as you said it does not receive any data.
As additional information when plugged, and I touche the shift button on the controler it lights up in orange. maby thios information can help you to give me some advices

That is, as the shift button, just a hardware feature. Your controller does not send MIDI data. Do you have the latest driver installed? Check the download center

I installed the driver U-Mix Control Pro 1.0.3 volume panel, but nothing changes.

There is 2 things that can avoid your controller to send data :
- usb audio drivers conflict (often happened with webcam drivers)
- dead controler : doesn't look like it's dead...

I uninstalled the webcam driver and still not working

Before send it back for warranty/services, check on another computer.

Could it be possible that something went wrong with the firmeware update and not the controller is sending no data. In that case is there any way of "formatting" the system of the controller and getting a clean new reinstalation?
