Hi, just got my U-Mix Control Pro control. when i go into Preferences > Audio and try to select Mixvibes Asio U-Mix Control Pro from the drop down menu it says: 'error opening primary sound driver: "bad format"... meaning i can't configure the rest of the options! Help! My system sounds are coming through so the rest of the setup is ok... thanks

				Ok,
you when you can use the U-Mix Control Pro as MIDI controller the asio driver should also installed correctly. So could you select it or everytime you want to select the U-Mix Control Pro asio it says it? I ask because the primary device is normaly the internal soundcard of your computer and not the U-Mix Control Pro. Check this at the sound prefs of windows and if the U-Mix Control Pro is set to default playback please set your internal device to default. After that start Cross again and change your audio setup there.
Regards
Christian

				Hey,
When the U-Mix Control Pro is the default at windows please select an other sound card as default. You can only use the Asio card by one program not two so if windows is using the card, Cross can't use it.
To fix this problem select as I wrote one other card like the build in card from your computer as default. After a reboot with Unplugged U-Mix Control Pro the other card should be the default automatically. Then plug the U-Mix Control Pro in your computer again and you should be able to select it without getting an error.

thanks will try that... i have now got it working with Cross 1.5.4, but it doesn't work with 1.6 or 1.6.1... I have gone straight from 1.5.4 to the 1.6s though, do i maybe have to install all the ones in between for it to work properly??

Have you tried it with the new Cross 1.7.0RC which was released yesterday?

Tried it with 1.7, 1.6.1 and 1.6... doesn't work. only on 1.5.4. Do i need an update for the controller or something?? I can load the tracks in the channels but when i press play nothing happens!

				Does the waveform move???
Have you configured the internal U-Mix Control Pro audio interface in ASIO in Cross' aurio preferences? Did you install the ASIO driver for the U-Mix Control Pro's internal audio interface? You can find the installation file for PC
