I recently bought the Mixvibes Cross DJ pack to use with my turntables. Everything is running fine until I start to beatmatch or accidentally hit the platter of one of my turntables that's running. From that moment I get high CPU spikes (mostly it's stuck at 100%).
My laptop has an intel 2.2ghz dualcore processor paired with 2gb of ram, using Windows XP with the latest service packs.
This also happens when I use my midicontroller. Thing is, this doesn't happen when I use my midicontroller in software like the latest Traktor with my M-Audio Fast Track Pro II interface on the same laptop.
Any ideas on how to fix it? I really want to play with this stuff, but the way it runs now I can't even record a mix for 5 minutes without sound dropping and stuttering.
there is a posting in the fourm about optimising your computer to help in issues of this nature helpful info,, not saying that a comparsion of two different softwares is fair but it is a concern with not being able to run the software having sound problems,, not familiar with tc vinals and setup to aid you the more info the better to try to resolve this is needed,.there is helpful info on similiar issues posted and their solutions on the fourm untill someone with more experences comes to asist you welcome to mixvibes fourm
curious as to how you are recording,,there is a posting about the bestway to achieve this without compromising the stability of the software also a updated ver 1.61 not saying that will resolve this issue

I know how to optimise my OS, that can't be the issue, as it's pretty much stripped down from anything but the absolute neccesary to be able to spin music with. I've been using that same OS to spin with my midicontroller for ages and up to now there haven't been any issues with it.
About the recording, it's going from the monitor outputs on my mixer to a dedicated music production PC, so that absolutely can't be the issue
i think you might have something mistaken. 1200ms is not a selectable value.
Try 128 Samples @44,1KHz, and see if there´s any change. Please also check what the TC-quality is like when beatmatching. could you also give more details on your PC´s cpu?
