AUDIO SETTINGS PROBLEM IN Vfx

Postby VDj Sean T on 26 Sep 2011, 12:29

Hey guys,

Installed the update of Vfx 1.2.1 and I am unable to recognize the audio card in the Vfx Control in the Vfx software.... The image of the options for the audio setup is given below... Kindly help me out to solve this. Also I am experiencing jerking of the software while playing a track.

Your Vfx Control soundcard is certainly set as windows default.
Go into the windows sound preferences and chose the built-in soundcard as default. Try again then.

Did you really checked the Vfx soundcard ain't used by windows?
After you changed this, a reboot might be needed.

In fact, this "Not connected" message means the soundcard is currently used by another process (windows itself, a web browser, another audio app, etc.).

Please try to uninstall your version and to re-install Vfx 1.2.1 with Vfx Control driver directly.

Hi,

Did you try to uninstall your Vfx first and then to directly the Vfx 1.2.1?

Please explain how do you proceed? For example: you have installed your CD version (1.1.0 version?) then the 1.2.0 update and then the 1.2.1. Please give us your Vfx installation process?

Hi Egun,

I have uninstalled & then directly download 1.2.1 version with the driver. Still the same problem. . . & Another problem is that the software with or without Vfx Control pluged in, still keeps Jerking & moving in the beat section ( Its not moving smooth from day 1 ) . It is like something is holding & releasing the music bars but the audio is ok... just see that the sftware runs smooth.

Thanks & Regards,
Sean

Before Mixvibes finds a solution to this audio settings problem that appeared with version 1.2.1 there is a workaround : using asio4allhttp://tippach.business.t-online.de/asio4all/downloads_1/ASIO4ALL_2_10_English.exe
select asio4all instead of Vfx Control asio
choose output number (usually 2)
open control panel and enable Vfx Control (called usb peripheral) in asio4all
you can now assign outputs as you like
