Hey,

are you using external Mixer? Master rec is only working when you use dual stereo with master out and cue. Then the software can record the master output directly.

At External Mixer you are mixing the music at the mixer so the software can't hear what you are doing so it will not record. If you want to record your mix with an external mixer you have to connect the output of the mixer to an computer input (line-IN) and record with an extra program like audacity or No.23-recorder.

regards
Christian

Hey,

you can also record your mix with an external mixing usage but you have then to send the signal back to the computer from the mixer. Also you have to use an extra program.

If you want to use the internal function at Cross you have to use the dual stereo with master and cue method.

For me for example I use the external mixer and send the signal from my mixer via the REC-output to my old computer to the LINE-IN and record at this computer.

Regards
Christian

Try here (latest version 1.7.1)

[MAC] Cross 1.7.1 & release notes

You may need to enter your serial again. If that's the case this can be found from your profile (User Control Panel)

i have been trying this using Cross, vinyl and U-Mix Control Pro, and i kind of see what you are saying, to record a mix with a separate laptop or recording device, you have to use master cause the other output wont let you use the crossfader, (or will not capture any thing you do with faders, ) so i ran master to separate laptop with line in, then tried using sound from that laptop so i can hear what im mixing correctly, however, it had a 1 second delay importunately, kind of thru me off in the mix, i was wondering if i bought some sort of audio splitter from radio shack, if maybe that would work better

maybe something like this will kill the delay ?
