Problem with Asio on U-Mix Control Pro

Postby DJ Sand on 11 Sep 2011, 15:12

Hi guys,

I've been searching through the forum for the answer to my problem but cannot find a solution anywhere. Therefore I'm guessing it hasn't been asked yet (please correct me if I'm wrong).

The problem being that everytime I try to load a song on either Deck A / B on Cross DJ I get the Error Message: Can't load media: Check your audio settings. I have a pair of desktop speakers which are connected to the output 1/2 slots on the back of the machine as well as a pair of headphones on the front (for monitoring). All drivers etc. seem up to date..

My specs:

-CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 @ 2.80GHz
-RAM: 4 GB
-Win7 Home Premium, 32Bit
-Cross 1.6.0 (AudioCache:50%[1.02GB];Device: U-Mix Control Pro [44.1kHz; Buffer size: 2040 samples]; Routing Mode: Simple stereo)

Appreciate any help I can get :)

  :?: no posting concerning problem,  not shure of the solution but there are a couple of threads with the title of U-Mix Control Pro,sound issues. the search tab will get you there, other than off the top of my head that you should use the dual stero mode to sort it out,,,, or you have issues with the i7 processor,,there is info on that as well, . :!:  :?: last thought is have you updated the firm ware for the controller :?: :?: ,dont have U-Mix Control Pro

Try setting the Routing mode to "Dual Stereo" from the drop down.

had no idea there was an internal / external mixer mode set  but i'm guessing it's on internal coz the machine has proven to me to be working (under the windows sound settings I can choose to "test" my speakers (the U-Mix Control Pro being one of chooseable speakers). When I test the machine everything work's the way I want :surprised: the speakers plugged on the back work & the headphones for the monitoring work perfectly too
