Help!U-Mix Control 2 cue -main volume problem

Postby Matt Gracie on 20 Aug 2011, 02:25

Greetings,
I am having an issue with the headphone cue (source a) and (source b) function working separately from the main volume. I am using 1.6 version of Cross LE, with windows 7, U-Mix Control 2, and the steinberg audio interface CI 1. I am getting sound through and i can control the volume on the controller and external sound card and i have volume in my headphones but the Cross fade and the main volume determines whats played in the headphones so I cant cue any tracks. any suggestions? any updates I might need?
Thanks,
Matt

I am referring to this picture:

It seems that your audio interface has only one output. We both can see that there is a main output via RCA and one for the headphones. Often the headphone output is a mixed audio output which you can not assign and configure. This means that you only have one output which you can assign in Cross for the main OR the cue. You need another audio interface and ASIO4ALL to aggregate both to one interface or you can buy a 2 channel audio interface like the U-Mix 44.

Cheers,

Steve
