[EN] Error at overwriting an existing collection

Hey,

the following problem: I want to create a new "old" collection. So I opened Cross DJ and pressed at Create new collection and selected the old library which I want to overwrite. After that the program asked me if I want to overwrite the file. I said yes and after that Cross DJ is standing. I can do what I want it will not respond any request. At the Taskmanager the program is also setted as Running normal but when I kill the task I get a not responding request from windows for Cross-DJ.exe.

Technical details:
Cross DJ 1.6
Windows 7 64bit Professional
8 collections and one of them I want to overwrite.

System:
C2D 3GHz
8GB Memory

I tested it twice to see if it is happening again. I opened my allmedia database and want to override the houseMedia collection.

What do you do exactly? I can't reproduce it. Can you send me your collection file?

Hey,

yes I can send you it but it can take a few hours my current internet connection is not the fastest and the files are big.

But I noticed that I can't create new Collections. Everytime I press Create new Collection and set a new name like newcollection.crossdb --> Cross DJ is changing the Header title but nothing else changed. After a few seconds the program hangs completly.
So I think I have there an other problem. My last action was to convert my old Cross DJ 1.5 DB to 1.6 and know I can't create new ones.

I think I uninstall Cross DJ and install it again. I also remove the Cross folder at AppData. But I will save them seperatly to a new location to get some backup data if the reinstalling will not work.

OK I will upload them. I uninstalled it, cleared every folder from appData to my folder. Cleared the registry and installed Cross DJ 1.6 again. But it is still not working... everytime I want to create a new collection it freezes.

I will post a link when I uploaded them or if I found a solution for my problem (mybe a program is blocking something or so)

Hey,

I think it is my settings file or my collection. Maybe broken? I tested my old crossdb file and after loading this file I can't create new collections.
I will upload it as a RAR file at my share. I could compress it from 113MB to 13MB. So it will not take too much time to upload it. I post the link in a few minutes.

(I deleted the hole Cross DJ folder at appdata/roaming and after that I could work and create new dbs. after loading the old file "mixvibes-cross-dj-TestAllMedia.crossdb" I can't create more databases.)
