Hi guys, i recently had problems with RC1.5. 1: No matter what buffer-size i choose, i had digital crackles on top of the running track. 2: When scratching Deck A the Timecode qualitiy of Deck B would also go down, and the track would sound like !(&/$§. So i tried de- and reinstalling it, but it wouldnt help. In my despereation i also erased the preferences folder and reinstalled it again -> no more problems, but my collection is erased as well. (guess i erased too much So i´m letting you know that now it works fine again plus i can get down to 0,3ms latency when i turn the key-lock off^^ Maybe you guys can figure out what the problem was. Lovin Cross!

I´m running it on a Macbook (2,13 GHz, 4Gb) thru an Audio8Dj Interface. With the Official Release of Cross 1.5.0 now I can get down to 0,7ms Latency without any problems when the keylock is deactivated (set to speed) but when I turn the key-lock on (to hybrid) i need to set the latency to 4-5ms in order to have clear audio output. When i used Cross 1.3.2 and the u46mk2 i had clear audio at 2,3ms with the keylock turned on. Shouldnt it be with the the Audio8dj? I dont get it. btw: I do have TSP on the mac as well as i bought it with the Audio8dj.

j-kut wrote:Even if i dont run TSP? You see i use Cross for clubbing, and TSP for recording mixtapes as it´s easier to record with it and has 4 decks. So are you saying if i deinstall TSP from my mac this will give me better performance with Cross again?
I didn't say that, I just guess that the more we will go into version number, the more power they will need due to features added. j-kut wrote:Excellent, when i turn the effects on I even need latency higher than 5ms not to have distorted audio. What the...? I´ve used Cross since July 2008 and it was always the fastest DVS, but now it´s getting just lame.
With the audio8 or the U46 ?
