Timecode CD jumping

Postby dj-jantto on 02 Nov 2010, 22:53

Hi!
I've got a problem when I play with my timecode cd's the cd is jumping at 20:35 and 17:54. This is very annoying because the mix will be ''''' uo! No noticeable scratches on the cd's, this problem was already the first time I used the cds. I tried to burn new copies but It is the same "scratch" jumping on them. I really hope you can help me, because this is very frustrating on the gigs.

Regards
DJ Mike

I think your cds have an issue cause I played mines from :15:00 to end in absolute and relative mode and no issues at all.

When did you buy your Cross Pack and from who ?

I buyed in the begining of June, DVS Pack MK2 that came with vinyls and cds, from Discoland Ltd in Finland, http://www.discoland.fi .Later I buyed my MacBook Pro and upgraded to Cross from your website, and start to use the timecode cds. I don't no why the same problem shows up even if I burn new one, and the same problem on bouth cds. It jumps about an 1/2 sec, and the beat go messed up.

If it is on both cds then it is probably a factory default on a batch of cds.
Did it also happened with DVS back in June ?
Did you update to Cross 1.4 ?

I never tried it with DVS, because my PC-laptop always crashed with the USB-controller.
Yes I have updated to Cross 1.4.
