Okay Mixvibers,

I have decided to go back to Cross. Home wasn't what I thought it would be. While installing U46MK2 drivers the download froze. Is this interface the best for Cross or should I purchase the Maya44. I just want to DJ! Thanks.

Hi there

U46mk2 is all good for Cross

Download the latest Drivers from the download section

http://forum.mixvibes.com/downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=310

Follow the instruction on the download page
Install the driver

Install Cross if you havent already done so

set the inputs to line on the u46mk2

calibrate CD's or vinyl

Set the input to line even if old school turntables are used?!

What is hooked to the mixer ? The soundcard ? Then it feed a line level signal.

It's not about the input of the mixer, my question is about the input of the soundcard.

Input of the soundcard in Line then Cross in Phono
Input of the soundcard in Phono then Cross un Line

In the second case you'll have a better sound in bypass, but the first case provide a better precision in timecode.

Ok,

But just for the record, in case of using turntables, I need to set the input of the soundcard to phono, right?

The message of abitmessie let me suppose that it was needed to "set the inputs to line on the u46mk2" if I'm using CD's or Vynil.

Ah Thank you Blackbrook!

That's the kind of answer straight and accurate I like!
Cause it's absolutly not logical for me, so thank you!
