What spec are those files ?
mp3 or other formats ?
if it is mp3 are they id3v1 or id3v2 ?
if it is id3v2 which version id3v2.3 ? .4 ? .5 ? .6 ?
Those files was tagged before but with what app ?

Problem known on version 1.25 & corrected in further versions today on betatest.

We need the maximum clues you can provide in order for us to reproduce and solve these issues.

Hopefully, this information i have provided to you will allow you to reproduce these problems we have been encountering. Apparently fixed in new beta test....

Test successfully passed in the current beta :
tags edited in Cross are modified when you check whith the OS explorer.

Hello, i try the demo version 1.6.0.
At this moment i am a Home7 user.

I see that the files in Cross are read based on the TAG ID's. In home7 it is possible to select ID3v1 and ID3v2 or none of these). I selected file handling with no ID tags cause my TAG ID's are not good written.
On this way the the artist and trackname in Home7 are good (based on explorer).
Is it possible to change Cross so that the files not will be showed based on ID tags?

You can choose to display by filename within the collection.
Right click on the columns header and select what you want to see (or not).

Thanks for the infomation. It suffices.
Beside the file information. At this moment I try Tagscanner, that seems a nicer option.
