*Did you try Blackbrooks solution (see previous post) to the serial problem?
*Do you have UAC ( user access control enabled )? if so turn it off
Vista and windows 7 has UAC which blocks applications among other things that it does not see as trusted therefor settings etc are not written to the registry(so u have to put in your serial EVERY BOOT UP!)
*Have you tried a partitioned a section of your Hard drive(say 18-20 gig) to run JUST MIXVIBES and minimal drivers? (works for me using an old version of XP with no problems whatsoever)
Hope this helps Kriztov
Cheers

Turned UAC off, this went well for a couple sessions, today it asked for the serial again...

And also another bug. I found out that that sometimes the playback of a track that is loaded in a deck, has a minor glitch in it. Most of the time somewhere in the first 30second of the track. When you just listen to the track, you almost never really hear it, but you notice it hard during beatmatching the track.
When I have this glitch in a track, I have to load another track, than I load the same track again (the one were the glitch was in) and TA-DAA, the glitch is gone!

Any help?

Hey mate...
The only other thing i can think of is to try out the partition Idea i suggested before. :(
This remedied almost all of my problems i had previously.
Put in XP on that partition, not Vista....
Cheers

Little help with this please...
I'm running Win Vista, so I have to make a partitioned section of my hard drive. And what do I have to install on this partition? Win XP?

well you dont have to put on xp on the partion, its just my personal suggestion. Vista works fine for the majority of users :) (although it is not working for you at the moment; thats why i suggested XP-i have not used 7 either, but XP works). Just make sure on the partition, there are minimal drivers installed(graphics, soundcard), and it NEVER connects to the internet.
Cheers

Sorry but I'm not very familiar with this kinda stuff...
So just make another partition, install Vista, drivers and Cross? And do I have to boot up in this new partition? Or how does that work?

No problem...Well for example, i used a program called 'partition magic'. It will make a partition based on your preferences you enter(eg. 18-20 gig should be adequate if you have the HD space.) It will preserve the original 'C:' drive, and will create a new additional letter 'virtual' drive (i labeled mine 'M:' for Mixvibes-easy to remember) ;)
*Yeah make sure you install vista on the correct partition drive letter, and Cross, graphics, soundcard drivers ect.
*When you start up your PC, a window should pop up asking which operating system you wish to 'boot'. Should be that easy ;)
*(the only thing is they might be both labeled 'Vista'. The new partition should be the 'lower' one on the selection tree.)
Good luck...also have a google about partitioning if you need more information.
Cheers

There is 1.3.2 since December 24th, still not working ?
How many users account do you have ?
You're supposed to install Cross with admin rights and use it in the same session (install to all users don't work).

I think only one user account. When I boot up, I don't have to choose which user, it goes directly to the desktop. So I guess I'm the admin...
UAC is also off, it is Cross 1.3.2, but it still sometimes asks for the serial. Weird...
