Maybe there's a groundloop or something with the power-outlet in the club.
What's you setup in the club?

At home it's perfect. I DJ at 3 different clubs. my set up is macbook, 10mxr mixer 2 Audio Technica AT-LP1240 turntables using shure m447 needles and my power strip (non surge) have basically the same issues. The main thing has been dust cuasing tracking issues so I wipe the records and needle after every song also have the weight on tone arm heavy. The sound gets worse as the night goes on does not happen every single time.

Hm, so you can't nail it down to one location?

That's really odd. Do you mix as long at home as in the club?

Asides all software issues that could be the cause, I think it could be the macbook having a heat issue, but that's a 1:100 chance.
Maybe it's worth 20$ having it cleaned and the thermalpaste renewed, or you do that yourself if you know how to properly.

I practice 3 hrs at home. And I am starting to think its my Mac. I have been clubbing with it 3 to 4 yrs .at least 5 times a week. It's been dropped and banged up. I get a hiccup with itch every now n then.

I've been using serato scratch with my same set up the past 2 weeks and no problems. My issue must be the sound card in the mixer not working well with mixvibes

for scratch live you use another soundcard, which one?

maybe you should try your sl interface with Cross, instead of using the mixers'.

Sl1 asio is okay, but not as tight as the Serato driver.

you really need to play around in the install folder

c:programs(x86):serato:drivers

there will be drivers for 32 and 64 bit Windows, most likely you will have to copy the 32bit driver into the 64bit folder and then run the asio-installer from rane/serato.
Check the Serato hp for more details.

May need several tries, it's a wonky install but the driver is reliable.
