U-MIX44 SOUND PROBLEMS

You probably have to drag the outputlevel-slider to 100 in the device options.

Sound->U-Mix44->level.
And you have to use the rca-connections, as sound is coming via output 1.

Plus i just found something very weird, iTunes wont play if the u-mix44 is connected. press play nothing happens. choose a different tracktime, pause,play -> nothing.
Windows sounds playing w/out problems.

From what I know iTunes uses the default interface set in the system preferences. Not sure if you did so, just read the last 5 posts in here :-X

umixx44 connected and chosen as sounddevice-> no problem with windows/mediaplayer/mediamonkey etc but iTunes wont even start to play songs anymore the tracktime-bar just does not move at all. it´s stuck no matter what you do! press play and nothing happens

Hm...this is strange. Once I installed iTunes I used it with the U46MKII which was set as windows default audio interface - it worked with iTunes without any problem. This is strange!!!!

Is there a new driver for the U-Mix44? I think you have already updated it but who knows. It is an audio interface like all the others so I - as you too - do not see a reason why it should not work...

It is even stranger that only iTunes does not work with it. Why do WMP and Media Monkey play through the U-Mix44? Anyone?

Hey,

I can say that WMP and also MediaMonkey use the default soundcard which you can set under Soundprefs under Windows (Win7 go direkt in the taskbar to the loudspeaker -> right click -> output -> select the right device and press button set as default, XP is a bit different open Soundmixer choose interface and press ok).

I tested my U46 as Windows Default Drivers and when I choosed it it works also for iTunes. I also tested my M-Audio and Behringer BCD2000 everyone is working when I selected it as default under windows.

Hi Chrisian,

that´s exactly what i did, but somehow the u-mix44 messes with iTunes as i said any other interface works flawlessly.
