Is 1 into 2 MIDI mapping possible?

Postby synaptic flow on 04 Oct 2012, 03:24

Hello.

Basically I want to use 1 fader to control volume C and volume D. Cross DJ sees this as a controller conflict and won't give me an option to ignore the conflict and complete the mapping. Is there a work around to do this?

Currently, there's no way to map one MIDI fader to two commands at the same time.
Sorry.

you could use a modifier which you constantly press/release during using the fader.

-> One Fader mapped w/out the modifier, the other one with it.

It´s just a workaround, but should work. And remember to deactivate soft-takeover for this fader.

Hmm... I guess I'll just use knobs instead. I am running two MIDI controllers at the same time and one only has one slider.

Thanks for the replies.
