Hi,
I recently bought a U-Mix Control Pro 2 and using it with Cross 2.1. I've encountered a problem with the LOC/SMP button getting activated when using the jogwheel for dec B. This does not happen in dec A. I went to the shop where i bought the item and tried it with another U-Mix cp2. The problem also exist. I'm guessing it's a problem with the mappings of LOC/SMP + jogwheel for dec B. Can an expert from mixvibes check this? Will this be fixed in Cross 2.2?
Thanks, Dan

Using duplicate of the default Pro 2 mapping. Only difference is filter mapped to Gain. Not sure what else is relevant: plugged in via USB, dual-stereo mixer mode. (Sorry for hijacking the thread, will be interesting to see aboy_pogi's setup too)

Thanks for the reply guys... my setup below:
Used U-Mix Control Pro 2 as MIDI mapping (default). Tried duplicating the controller mapping and still the same.
Standard connection, RCA 1/2 to output, USB, headphones.. Have tried it both for PC (win7) and mac.
What's odd is that it doesn't happen in deck A. It only happens in deck B when you try to use the jogwheel (tapping or spinning) (either the jog buttong is on/off), the LOC/SMP button turns on and get activated. This raises an issue if you wanted to use the hot cue slots (1-4) at any given time.
Thanks!

I can understand that an underpowered device can have lights issue but even if the sample/locators are enlighted on the controler it shouldn't prevent you to use them as I suppose that into the GUI they're still empty...

It's the Loc/Smp button itself that gets activated, not the 1-4 buttons. The light flashes on and off when the jog is used. And it's not just the light, it is like it is actually being pressed. This means that if you do have samples/locators set you press one of the 1-4 buttons. At this point you have an issue because without you noticing the Loc/Smp button might be in the wrong mode, and your sample/locator action might not happen. Interesting that we're back at the power issue again.

Ok got it : so you've got some kind of auto-switch ? honestly in 3 years never seen this on any device. - an other computer to try it ? - change usb port - try with an active usb hub - try with a power adapter EDIT : found it. A little mapping issue on the outputs side. Will be fixed in the next release.
