Mixvibes 7 + DDM 4000

Just about to pick up my new DDM 4000. Are there any issues or settings that I need to be aware of when I connect it up to my MV setup?
Currently using a DJM 300s and Technics 1210s, so im assuming its a case of swapping over just cables?
I have bought some MIDI cable to start mapping some of the buttons etc.
