Beat Breaker Preset (bankbeat)

Hi all,

i dont understand how the bankbeat presets work
in the sampler tutorial video it sounds really nice
after searching the forum i found this:
- beat breaker
syntax
Name break1 break2 ... breakn
break : [-]offset/[^][#][!][M]mesure[*repeat]
offset : number of beat for offset where take the break when exec the command
mesure : number of beat for the mesure taken when exec the command
*repeat : number of repeat of mesure taken
- back offset
! pitch in 1/2ton : keep same time than not pitched
^ pitch in 1/2ton : change time
# pitch shifting in 1/2 ton (same time than not pitched)
M mute the mesure

coulldt anyone give me some examples?

I made my own bankslice, because there was too much preset that i didn't use in the official preset.
Here it is:
We'll take an exemple
[2_____]1 0/0.25*4
Let me explain, usually, it goes like this

normal way.JPG

But with my preset, it goes like this

With this preset.JPG

[2_____]1 is the name, it will appear like this in the software
0 Choose the beat (0=First beat, 1=Second beat etc...)
/0.25 Choose the time of the beat
*4 choose how much time you want it repeat. (here it's 4)

This is a really simple exemple, this one last only 1beat, i use it at the end of the bar, it goes like this

Very big thank you for your effort!
I only have the non Producer Version of DVS
which has only 4 built in presets.
With them i dont really understand the system behind it.
So i downloaded the Producer Demo (much more presets)
and started to study them.
Together with your explanation i can start
making own presets, now. Nice!

For sure ! I think it will be helpful for everybody

With them i dont really understand the system behind it.

In DVS, it's just different play mode,
LIN: it will launch all sample on a line
COL: it wil launch all sample in a Column
ALL: it will launch all samples togethet
SINGLE: only one sample play, so when you launch a second one, the first stop

no i mean there are only 4 bankbeat preset in the standart version.
this was why i didnt understand how to make my own presets. now eyerthing is clear!
