- Intel Atom 1.6Ghz
- 1 Gb ram
- Screen 1024*600
- Hard drive 160Go
- Win XP
- 1.33Kg
- 350€

* Uninstall all the useless software provided by Asus.
* Use the "high performances" setting of the power configuration
* Disable network and Wifi
* Use the "high performances" display settings
* don't forget to check the display boxes at the end of the config wizard

It rocks !

Advices :

- 256 samples minimum
- If you own a U46MK2, use Asio4all instead of U46's driver (needs to much power)
- Download the Netbook skin in the download center to match your skin with the 1024*600 screen.
- use the "+ and -" button of the mediabase to zoom on your media titles.

MixVibes : open to every audio interface, every MIDI controller AND every computer :)

Wicked info jiel,

For those interested in this setup please remember that the EeePC 100H does not support firewire (IEEE 1394) audio devices nor does it have any expansion capabilities to add IEEE 1394 expansion ports.

This is the only thing stopping me from getting one; i can’t afford both the laptop and a usb audio device such as the ud46mk2 at the same time...

It does look like an excellent portable (and space saving) solution!

Regards
Bryan
