Recently installed Mixvibes DVS on to my laptop but it keeps saying 'U46 Asio Driver not present' when I attempt to run the install wizard. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Hey,
have you installed the driver for your U46Mk2? and is the device correctly installed?
If MixVibes DVS is not seeing the device it gives you this information. So please check if the Soundcard is installed correctly.
And please give us some more information like what OS and so on.
Thanks
Christian

Hi Christian.
Thank you for your quick relpy. As far as I am aware the U46MK2 driver is installed properly. However when I open the control device the window title displays 'U46MK2 v 1.0.34 Disable'. I am running Windows 7 Home edition and Intel Core i5-2450M. Please let me know any other information you need, i'm not really a techy.
Cheers.

I did not find the exact modell on the CPU list, but if it is a i5-2450 it is a Sandy Bridge processor. Those have the known issue that even if you have installed everything correctly and even if you can hear the timecode in your channels at the mixer while using the Bypass Mode you cannot calibrate. Using a USB 2.0 audio interface does the trick. Before that please be sure if your CPU is a Sandy Bridge

Just checked and my processor is a sandy bridge. Is there no alternative to buying a usb 2.0 interface as i do not currently own one?
Thanks.

You can Test to insert between the sound card and the notebook a USB hub. The issue could be fixed with this little thing but its no guarantee that it will work. On most systems the only alternative was to install an USB 2.0 audio interface.
So if you have the option to test with a USB interface between I would check this first otherwise you need an USB 2.0 audio interface or a good it specialist. Normal it should also work but could end in changing parameters and so on.

Christian
