Load on the system is different between both applications.

As long as you're pressing the jog, the track is paused.
I have CDJ 1000mk3/400/350/850/900/2000 and they all work the same.
This is not software related, even with no soundcard, no computer check how the deck behave with the cd.

hello mate, i can see there is preview option and tried to preview tracks but dont work...please tell me why?

You can't preview in external mode, only internal and it will send audio to the monitoring output.

ok, I've tried on internal mode without external cd inputs and still no joy...could you please guide me on how to use preview option, thanks

I don't understand what is your issue because you don't give any details.

Here how it work :
- first highlight the track you want to preview
- select the output channel for the preview player
- click on the Play button of the preview player

sorry, i should have explained what i'm looking to do...

i would like to preview track before selecting it to play live and for the track not to be shown on "last played" list.

i have followed your instruction above but no track shows on preview bar and therefore i cant hear it.

From where are you highlighting the track ?
It works from the Mediabase / Playlist not the explorer.
