Hi, actually im using mixvibes DVS Ultimate for sessions and an akai mpk mini for produce and id like to use the pads of the akai in my sessions, i have tried on MIDI devices, but theres not a specific mapping for this akai, i have also tried to configure it as a new line, but i have no succes, any idea?

In mixvibes MIDI perfencer in the MIDI 1 box ...(MIDI devices )
Do you see the akai mpk mini or usb MIDI device , MIDI driver
If yes...your good to go & start mapping MIDI mixvibes using the MIDI learn...
Or you can send Sub-sur a PM...to see if he will share his MIDI map for his akai mpk MIDI map

If you like to play keys and d.j at the same time , You can also uses the akai mpk MIDI keys to control a VSTi like a moog or a jp 6 VSTi ( play the keys live,record it live and mix what you have recorded by you turntables ) in-side one off mixvibes decks with out the need to mapping all the keys

Hi, sorry for the waiting, i have tried it but a message saying: ''MIDI driver MPK mini cannot be opened'' appears, what can i do?

Hey,

this can say different things: first it is not present on the system. (only temporary visible but not connected and turned on)
2. Driver not installed correctly (in this case uninstall the device and reinstall also the driver and after that plug the device in again.)
3. Device is in use by an other program like windows or other audio programs. Please check this by looking into the audio preferences of the OS and close all other running Audio applications.

4. report us what you have done and the result.

Hi, i think that the best thing its to reinstall it, because, i use it with ableton and theres no problem, its just plug and play (with ableton previously opened) and when i start mixvibes all other sound programs are off, maybe windows is using it, i will check it, but it dont seem...

I have reinstalled the akai software again but happens the same, and i dont understand the point about the driver, akai mpk mini its a plug and play hardware, i havent installed anything else apart of the installation cd, and it works on ableton without problems...
