Loop / Sample Features

Hi all. New to the forum. Unable to post to ‘Introduce…’ for some reason. Just set up DVS Ultimate effortlessly which was good. I’ve just moved to digital mixing after years of spinning vinyl. Tried a few mixes – works a treat!
I would like to investigate the sampling, loop and effects functions on the software. Is there a link to a thread or external source can someone could post to help me out? I’ve not used digital software to edit mixes before (only simply to record them via Audacity) so I’m a complete novice in this regard – go easy on me…

Thanks in advance…

You Should read the manual, I guess it explains it well :)

Thanks for the links. They were helpful to a certain extent but I’m wondering if there is a more in-depth manual available for DVS Ultimate? The only manual I currently have is the Quick Set Up guide that came with the hardware when I bought it. The Quick Set did exactly that – got me set up. I would like to learn more about the software beyond the initial set up. :D

Ok....I will give you one sampler tip you might like
I call it scratch the sampler from your time code vinyl

1)....load 16 scratch samples that you like to scratch in to the 16 pads in the mixvibes sampler...

2)....set up your MIDI controller ( i use my roland mv 8000 sampler for this ) for the mixvibes sampler

3)....now choose which deck in mixvibes ( which turntable you like to scratch with ) , in that mixvibes deck click the audio track-back button..every time you click the track-back button you will see the scratch samples in the mixvibes sampler load into that mixvibes deck ,click the track-back button 16 times to load all 16 samples in the mixvibes sampler into the mixvibes deck

4)...now every time you hit a MIDI pad / key ( 1 off the 16 ) on you MIDI controller to trigger a scratch sample in the sampler in mixvibes ,that scratch sample will load instantly into the mixvibes deck so you can scratch it from your turntable by time code vinyl

PS: your mixvibes deck needs to be in REV MODE..not in ABS MODE
