To whoever can help please desperate
Finally I get DVS Ultimate version 7.4 to work, I have downloaded updates too. My problem is now terrible feedback through U-Mix soundcard and mixer. If I use decks without Soundcard Mixer works perfectly. If I use decks through U-Mix mixer, I either get no sound at all except a high pitch buzzing...Or when a tune does play there is terrble feed back especially on TT1...TT2 seems to work fine....I have tweeked and tweeked even had a music Producer here on Satarday, yet the feedback is terrible  This does not happen when soundcard is not being used.
I've read something about grounding but I dont understand. All my plugs are approx 2 feet away from sound card so what can it be  I await a reply I am soo desperate to get mixing yet I keep finding problems Thanks in anticipation xx

Some tips from me:

- groud wires from your turntables connected to the U-Mix? (if possible)
- the high buzzing tune you are hearing is the timecode, click the bypass button and you should be able to play tracks with your records

Hi thanks for your reply  ...ground wires are in the U-Mix soundcard tried turntables and soundcard. Also the high pitched noise comes through the whole time the mixer is connected to the soundcard, i f I disconnect mixer from soundcard and just play decks through mixer to amp without soundcard there is no highpitched buzzing...
The noise from the timecoded vinyl is slightly annoying. But the noise happens as soon as I switch the mixer on when it is connect to soundcard...Do I have a faulty soundcard i wonder????
Please help...Im totally baffled I have even order to 2 ground loop isolators..but it only happens when sound going through the U-Mix soundcard...I even tried Virtual DJ programme through the soundcard and it does the same thing HELP XX

I sounds like it is a faulty soundcard...can you arrange another one for testing?

Hi thanks for your reply....But apparently not that easy...as my supplier needs a laptop to test it and he hasn't got one. Im running Mix-vibes off PC with windows 7 so cant take that to the shop.
Im not very impressed with the fact things cant be sorted easily and will keep you posted as to the issues...One very upset customer

Hello
This might be caused by a ground loop
If your PC power supply is connected to the mains ground ,and your mixer (or turntables) too, you are producing a loop.
And a loop often cause noises.
Only one device should be connected to the main ground, you have to disconnect other devices from the ground, this can be done with an adapter...
