Mixvibes 7 acting strange on 1 channel

Hi!

I've been using Mixvibes 7 with pleasure for a couple of years, but lately 1 channel is acting strange.

I am using Mixvibes with 2 Technics SL1200, timecoded vinyls and my Reloop mixer and the U46MK2 soundcard.

Now whats the problem:
Sometimes 1 channel is having trouble with reading the vinyl, he can't always read the begin point of the record and when he can find it, the sound suddenly randomly starts to reform / corrupt.
It is also visible on the BPM counter in the software.

Does anyone know this problem? and more important: what can be the sollution?
I added an configreport.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for your reply!

The problem seems to be in the software or soundcard.
I have switches channels of my turntables, but the problem also switches to the other channel.

What do you mean with 'reset exe'?

thanks!,

Pieter

Hey,

Please check the timecode quality when this occurs. Is it lower than 80%? and check audio (timecode signal) at the beginning of your vinyl, maybe it is broken there?

So please check this and also what daniel said! It could also be a problem of the connection to the soundcard.

regards
Christian

  check out what is different in the one turntable set up that the problem is staying with,,,,dont worry about reset exe yet ,,think you have hardware issues and probly not with the sc .

Reading your config report I can see that you are NOT using the U46 as audio interface?! If you choose it it shold work as usual.

Here is an updated config file,
I am using the U46 driver (version 3).

Just now everything was working right on both channels for 5 minutes, and suddenly in the middle of a track the BPM's started to change and the sound start to irritate.

I have changed turntables / needles / timecoded vinyls and checked the wires.
Everything seems to be allright...
The strange thing is, that it's not there permanently but once in a while.

Hey,

have you disabled the power saving mode and so on? Please check also the CPU and memory usage while playing, maybe it is a CPU or memory issue that it is full or so (please check also if to many backgroundprograms are running)
