no headphone output

hi all , i am haven problems with my new mixvibes home7, i can play tracks and the sound comes out the speaker on my laptop but when i click on the headphone switch to cue up a mix there is nothing coming out of my headphones it just comes out the speaker along with the existing track, i have tried it on both chanells and switch the usb sound card to diffrent ports but nothing, the only sound i get is the windows sounds if i click on the volume control for windows it displays 2 diffrent channels but still no music coming out , i no its going to be something simple but would relly like some help hear , thanks

quick and simple the headphone output is post fader rather than pre fader like in your analoge mixer,, kinda went thru this in a posting on this tech fourm eariler ,,,same issues apply,, home 7 can be used with a anologe mixer by using the output from your comp and the output of the usb home sound doggle to the line input of your mixer and use the monitoring section of the mixer not a good solution,but workable at best,,,take time to get info and see what options are avaible.. here to answer

thanks, i did see some one with a simeler problem, i ahve sorted it now and as i thought it was something simple, i had not gone in to settings and clicked monitor to be usb, haven a qwick blast now and seems to be working fine , thanks again for coming fro with some advice i be sure ill be back with more questions in the near future as i get my head around this mp3 mixing and then move on to a better version as i get more clued up

download the Cross demo and try that out ,,to give you more options and information glad to help and welcome to mixvibes and home 7,,ohh yea disable windows system sounds to stop the dinging evertime you hit the mouse,,,simple fix,,, pleanty of info on the fourm to help with problems and there solutions
