No, unfortunately this is not possible. If you are turning on the effects you will loose your timecode, right? The effect changes the timecode so that the software can not detect it.

Steve

No problem!

If I interpret your last smiley right you are looking for effects to use in DVS, right? There are a bunch and if you are getting one of the little korg nano MIDI controllers you can set it up very easy ;)

Greetings,

Steve

In case of the Korg nano kontrol you can install it, open DVS, go to the Preferences and select MIDI where you should see the ano kontrol as a device. If so you can go to Preferences -> MIDI Learn and activate it. When it is activated you move your mouse to the effects rack where you see tha knobs for the effects. Move the mouse to a knob you want to adress and wait till it gets sliver/grey. Then turn a knob on the nano kontrol and the knob in the software should move, too. The function is mapped. Continue with other knobs till you finished your mapping. So you can use the effect knobs and buttons to control the effects in DVS.

Greetings,

Steve

Did you install the latest driver from the Allen & Heath homepage? Is the controller recognized properly?

Go to view in the panel above and make sure the status bar is activated. If so you can see which MIDI notes are send by the Xone:1D. If you can not see MIDI notes there is something wrong with the driver installation. If you see MIDI notes you are able to map the controller (which is hard work)
