timecode cds cueing problems

Hellou everybody!

I was wondering, if anyone had problems with timecode cd's & cueing?

My Producer 7.21 simply stops to cue tracks after some time of playing with it, for no apparent reason.

That is, it just stops to remember cue points. You set the track, press cue, play it from there on, and when u want to go back and press cue again, nothing happens! So, u have to return the track back to the beginig, and seek to the wanted position again, which is very annoying.

When u load another track, it still happens, on both decks. U actually have to restart the software to stop it from happening.

Help, anyone? What could be the cause of this? I really tested it a lot, with two different installations of Mixvibes, both 7.21, on 2 different computers, and it happens very often, but I can't find the apparent cause. It seems to me like a random bug?

Btw. I played on Pioneer CDJ1000's and CDJ400's during the testing.

u mean usb cable to my soundcard?

no, cable is ok, when i use my turntables it all works fine, signal forms a nice cirle, and tracking is smooth... cd signal is also flawless btw.

could it be relative mode & looping? i use it often when i play, maybe it has something to do with it? maybe relative positioning screws up the cue points, which should be written in memory with absolute positioning , or something like that...

but i guess somebody on this forum would have noticed it by now...

i'll test it some more in absolute mode only, don't know what else to do?
