MIXVIBES CRASHING

Postby Macgyver on 29 Jul 2009, 19:55

Since I've been testing the latest official release of Mixvibes Producer, I've noticed crashing almost everytime I've used it.

The crashes were not at any specific time, some of the crashes happened after running Mixvibes for a couple of hours, others happened while running Mixvibes for less than an hour. Main point was that it crashed.

I made a suggestion some time ago about some kind of autosave feature for Mixvibes in the event of a crash, so that when you start Mixvibes back up you pick up at the same point where you left off. I see that was never implemented.

I've experienced crashes with the previous official release of Producer (7.1) here & there, very rare but nothing that I can say was a regular occurence.

One time this latest release of Producer even did some funky thing to my screen after it froze. I took a picture since I have never seen anything like it & didnt think anyone would believe me...lol
I will see if I can get that picture uploaded online.

There is a part of me that has been wondering if Cross is any more stable than Producer?

It is related to an harware problem with your graphic card. Not with Mixvibes, sorry.

yeah?
that would be strange since i don't have the same problem with the previous release of Producer 7.1

but i will look into any possible graphic card problems.

Any luck on my pitch jitter issue (see my other post)???
