Vinyl control pitch range

On some of the new skins in 7.1 you can change the value of the range of the pitch control to 6%, 10% or 100%. This changes the length of the graphic displayed for the slider, but doesn't actually effect the range of pitch control on the deck itself.

I may have misinterpreted what this control should do, but I assumed that if the value was set to 6% then the deck would go from -6% to + 6% and no more (on technics this would mean that when the pitch on the deck was set to +8 Producer would be displaying +6%). But this doesn't happen, the range in Producer stays the same. I hope this makes sense! Any clues? Is it a feature that isn't working or have I misunderstood?

Thanks for looking!

i think the various pitch ranges are only effective in MIDI or laptop control modes. If you are using timecode to control your players, the pitch is limited to the pitch variation produced by your decks.

Ok, thanks for info
I think being able to change pitch range when using timecode would be a good feature.
Cheers!
