[solved]Couple of issues after upgrading to 7.1 (HELP!!!)

I used to have a good performance of previous DVS versions, most of the things used to work fine. After I updated to 7.1 the software has been very frustrating. It just does not apply any settings I configure. For example:

- It plays the song when pressing the beat match button, eventhough the "auto mix box" is unchecked at the mix tab.

- it does not create a peak or wave line of the file being played, it just shows the beat peak and the BPM is now calculated when loading the track.

- it seems a real challenge to set the cue at any desired point, it just keep returning to the beginning of the track (very frustrating).

If any one can help I'd really appreciate it.

below is my config report:

Updating to mv 7.1 require you do the setup to a new folder.
Uninstall DVS
reinstall from your cd
then update, during the setup define a new folder different from mv6 DVS
That's all. It works much better then.

You can keep the 2 versions or delete the first folder dvs6 & keep version 7.1

Followed your advised and it is working much better now. Still having the beatmaching bug though.

The wave pic is showing, it takes its time to load, but it is showing. I can live with it.

Thanks for th help.

Cheers.
