Mixvibes interface

Postby crebilis on 30 Nov 2008, 17:25

Hi all,

I've recently bought Mixvibes DVS pack MK ii, and I'm now a very happy user. There is however one thing that bugs me. The interface just isn't right. It looks like soe fonts are too big or some things are overlapping eachother, I can't really explain, but a screenshot might make things clearer:

I already made fonts for the time smaller, as suggested somewhere on these forums, but I still can't see how much time has already elapsed in a song while playing. Also, there are some more things that arent visible, but that one bugs me the most. I tried changing skins, but that didn't help.

Anyone got an idea what could help?

what about windows panel & font size control there? It seems that your default fonts are bigger than usual.

What do you mean by windows panel?

I never changed font size or anything alike in windows, if that's what you mean. I also didn't mess with font sizes in mixvibes, except for the skin config file, but that made it so I could see remaining time. No matter how small I make the font though, the other issues don't get solved.

Also I'd like to see the 2 players taking up the entire width of the screen, but that's probably not possible due to my large screen resolution (1680x1050), and that there's no skin for that resolution. Which brings me to another question: are there other skins then the ones that are already included in the software?

Ok what is your screen resolution? I don't have any problems like that, it's new for me.

- Did you check what font size do you use in windows panel > display (see unclevibes suggestion above)?

- You can change the TIMEPAST font size of the skin. Go to the MixVibes repertory then skin folder choose a skin. Open it go to %CHANNEL then TIMEPAST and choose 0 for the font (see picture below).

- I think that you don't use the last update: the DVS 7.1. So you can update your version now.
