Playlist issue - Still hasn't been fixed?
Posted: 20 Nov 2008, 05:44I noticed today that the duplicate songs in a playlist issue still has not been fixed. It seems that it doesn't happen as much but it is still happening which is why it took me so long to realize it now.
I had a few playlists where the original group of songs were duplicated 4 or 5 times within the same list. There was even one list where the group wasnt just duplicated but was also mixed up (out of the original sequence) in one of the duplications.

I thought maybe there was some auto save feature for playlists & maybe that was causing the duplication but i made a new playlist, saved it, then added more music to it, shutdown mixvibes without saving the additional songs to the playlist but when i opened it back up they were not there.. so i ruled out any auto save feature.
Also it makes absolutely no sense to me why anytime i change a playlist i have to go through the process of:
right clicking > (changing the save folder if i have my playlists stored in a different directory than the MV default) > typing in the name of the playlist all over again
why not just make a button save & save as on the playlist window
when my playlist is altered i click the button.. simple and quick
Also the name of my playlist should be shown in the title bar of the playlist window
