I'm not sure whether my problem is really a bug. But i decided to post it because in fewer Versons (6.411) i don´t have this problem.
My system is a thinkpad with 2ghz celeron, 2gb Ram and XP /SP3.
I never had problems with dropouts and i ran 6.411 with the best latency (64 / Buffer 2) without any problems.
I use only the Explorer to find my Tracks and i like this.
But in the newest version 7.1 i have a big problem with it.
When i open and close a folder fast (*click click*
) i hear some dropouts in the Sound, even when i set the latency to 128 or higher.
When i start mixvibes with a lower priority the dropouts seems to disappear but the timecode quality is alwasy about 90 %.
As i said in the version 6.411 i can click like a maniac and the sound is fine, even with latency 64.
Maybe the GUI priotity is to high or waht ever, its your turn
