locations and loop memory ARE NOT SAVED

i thought I read in the manual whenever you save the ID3 tag of a file the locations and loop memory are included.... Apparently this is NOT SO. Producer and MVPro6 only remember these settings during runtime and if you close and reopen MV well your locations and loop memory are now gone
Is this the way it should work... only remember the locations and loop memorys during runtime and not after a power down???
Also, there is a quick save key (ctrl+S) in Producer for the media file how about adding other quicks for the seqeunce and ID3TAG...

please ricjoh we work only on problems found in the last release.
We don't have these problems in 7.1 "final"
Also, there is a quick save key (ctrl+S) in Producer for the media file how about adding other quicks for the seqeunce and ID3TAG...
Post it in the wish section this isn't a bug.

If there is something I'm not understanding here let me know. Here's are pics of the issue I describe above.
I load some songs and play the songs, right click save some cue location and loop location. I then save the ID3 Tag info. This is the first photo. In the second photo, I close MV, then reopen MV load the same songs.... THE TAGS INFO, BPM, location, loops ARE ALL WIPED AWAY. This is the second photo. Is this the way MV7 works??? Tell me if this is correct operation for MV7. This is version 7.100 MV7, is there another version that supercedes?

Hi Richjoh, location and loop memories are saved in the mediabase file. you need to save your mediabase at the end of the session to store this information

What is saved when I do a ID3 Tag save. (I thought all tag info) I lost the bpm even though I save id3 tag... Must I save the mediabase too for bpm to be saved?

id3tag save should work without need of .vib file if you select first in the mediabase the files to be saved. You save all the tags when you save the media base without a selection first.

I have a question, do you have to do the cue ups and changes to the media base file? I was moving my selected files to my playlist and then editing it in there. But also having the same problem that my cue/loop edits don't save. Can I save those if I am working off my playlist back to media base file? Sorry i'm a new user...

Also I did try and edit the media base file, save the edit tag info and also saved the media base, but the cues won't save.

Cues are not saved... in fact cues are always reset whenever you toggle the play button... Thus cue is never saved. You probably want to use to Cue to the cue to the first beat of the song (me too). If you want it to stay there, click and hold the cue <-- I guess you already know that part.
Other probably noticed the "Cue/Autostart" feature does not work or does not always work. (It hasn't work for me but I've seen it work). There are 3 setting in the Option-Mix menu. The sound level detection is 30 dB (an attenuation) <-- confusing to me since I'd thought you would look for a gain (sound rising i.e. the first peak)??? Maybe this should be in the BUGS list of the forum... The feature not working really cause me extra work on cueing up song...
"Match on load" does NOT work either.
Hmmm, on second thought this may work in Scratch/Turntable mode but not when this is off... Cannot confirm this right this minute but I will.
