There is a tag labeled "Album Artist" (seperate from the "Arstist" tag) MixVibes does not show this tag information. The artist field is for Artist (those singer/rappers doing the song). Album artist is the individual who release the album, one artist.

Hey Rich, you again on the media issues. I'm curious to see how detailed your mediabase is You seem pretty anal about the tagging, which I can totally understand. I'll see if we can make this small fix for an upcming update.
