If you want to save your loops you have to click on the 'loop memory' buttons on the player. So:
- create your manually loop (loop in/out)
[marked red]
- modify its position in the Media tab (if you want) or click and move the boundaries on the waveform
[marked green]
- click on one of the loop memory buttons
[marked yellow]
- save your mediabase

hi @ djegun

to specify this problem:
the problem is NOT to save the 10 'official' Loops of a song in the mediabase.

The Problem is to save this on Loop that can be specified at the tab in german called 'medien', in english it's maybe called 'media'. There can be specified: start, end, bpm...

The advantage of this specific Loop is: the song can be played from the beginning and this specific loop will be played automatically when the player reach this loop.

The problem is that THIS loop-information can't be saved in the mediabase.

OK but,

if you saved an 'official' loop of a song in the mediabase you can also use the 'Loop' tab: you can specified the start, the end and named the loop (the name will be displayed in the loop memory button tooltip).

The advantage of this specific Loop is: the song can be played from the beginning and this specific loop will be played automatically when the player reach this loop.

You can load your song, click on the memory button (so go to the saved official loop) and then go back to the start of the song. Play the song and this specific loop will be played automatically when the player reach this loop.

hi djegun,

thanks for that suggestion, unfortunately, it doesn't work in my setup...?

What works for me is:
1) I set a cue-point at the beginning of the loop and save it at Locations "1"
2) I press the "fast-forward"-button to skip the selected number of beats
3) I set a cue-point at the end for this loop and save it at Locations "2"

Now, the next time i use this song, I press the Location-"1"-Button and then the Loop"IN"Button,
then the Location-"2"-Button and then the Loop"OUT"Button.
Now i can rewind, play the song from the beginning and the loop plays automatically when it is reached.

But for really fast mixing song after song it simply takes to long. If i have 15 seconds to change a song in some kind of routine, every click or key-press to specify a loop can be too much...
