yes and no.....yes I can run it down to 3ms if I like
but I don't because ...I run 4 decks in mixvibes all with effects , I have my samlper fill of samples on 2 screens ,I use all 4 USB ports and my firewire at the same time...thats a lot of power and stress on my CPU for my old p4 2.4 laptop
for me its better to have a little more latency ( 7 ms ) thats as good or even better than my Serato /mac set-up and still be rock solid stable...where I can do 5 to 7 hour sets with no problams
another reason why I don't run at 96 khz is the digital out-put on the Edirol fa-66 don't work at 96 khz only 44.1 khz & 48 khz....I use the digital output for my headphonos
I plug my Edirol sound card to my c.d recorder with a digital fibre optics cable and then plug my headphono into the c.d recrorder
that gives me the best sound in my headphonos
