Ok, a friend who has Serato has just passed this onto me = http://serato.com/faq/scratchlive#6157 He suspect's i maybe need to update the BIOS on my laptop. Has anyone else had to do this with a Packard Bell Easynote TM86 to optimise their system to work with a DVS/controller of any kind? And if so, which one did they install?

I have had huge problems with my i5 and the U46MKII and the U-Mix Control Pro's internal audio interface. After a lot of updates (including BIOS update) it works flawlessly now.
Nevertheless I have bought a USB 2.0 audio interface, which is the best workaround I can see around.
