[SOLVED] How to uninstall MixVibes DVS7?

Postby xvlbeo on 03 Dec 2008, 12:27

Hi,

how to uninstall DVS7? If i start the uninstaller, it asks me about the location of DVS. Then it tells me "uninstall ok", but DVS is still in my software list ...

Please don't tell me i just paid ~€150 for a reason to reinstall my OS.

Just manually delete the folder and any other files and you'll be good to go. :)

Thank you very much for the answers so far. But i still have the "Mixvibes DVS uninstall" item in the software list.

How to get rid of it and why do i need additional software to REMOVE this software?

Sorry, not yet solved :(

Solution was reinstalling the OS.
After installing Vista 64-bit I realized that even the U46MKII is just crap. There are no Vista 64-bit drivers for the U46MKII.

Fortunately this piece of sh*t was pretty cheap. But it is not even suitable for home use.

I would recommend Deckadance with Mixvibes Timecode Vinyls and a decent soundcard depending on how many inputs you need (but NOT the U46MKII).

If you want to use the U46MK2 with a Vista 64bits you have to use Asio4all http://www.asio4all.com/

I wasnt Mixvibes at fault here, it was 64bit Windowz, it’s a bug that has been about for a long time but Microsoft being Microsoft will get round to fixing it for service pack 3 no doubt.

Booting in safe mode then running the Windowz uninstaller for Mixvibes via add/remove programs and clicking “Ok” to “This program could not be found, remove from programs list anyway” would have solved your problem.

Don’t blame Mixvibes.
