Ok if you have intermediate skill with computer here is a little explanation of how it should work :
- you plug the U-Mix44
- windows will identify the device as a usbaudio one and will affect the usbaudio.sys driver to use it
At this stage you can use the soundcard with a least one pair of input and one pair of output in WDM/Directsound mode can you ?- now if you install the asio drivers you can handle all the ins/outs of the device into any audio application.
You said that it was working into Cross. How did you get that result ? You're making things more confusing than they're.
if you have 'not connected' it is because the device is not recognized by windows so nothing after this can work.
