I'm too busy currently so I can't help via phone or with an video but I can explane it a bit more:

First go at your computer: If you installed it to the default section your program is at the following path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MixVibesDVS7

MixVibesDVS7 could something else because I don't know how the home edition is called at the directory. But I think it will be something with MixVibes .

At these folder you have an folder called "Preset". At these Preset folder there is an file called:
decoder.ini -> open it with an Editor (right mouse key -> open with... -> editor)

Look for the following line:
CODE: SELECT ALL
.aac .mp4 .m4a      ; dshowaudio decoder


If not put it in the file and save it. If it is there you can close it without saving.

next step:
You need an M4A, AAC Codec. you can find a allround package here:
http://www.mediacodec.org/

It is a free Codec base with nearly every codec you will need . It is open source and it is updated very often.
Install it and after that restart your computer and open MixVibes Home 7 and test ist again.

I've cracked it I have converted all the AAC file extensions to mp3 format which all work fine with bpm counter
